This has GOT to be the finest beach on Whidbey Island! Lived here for 15 years and never knew about it! We walked the beach with Angel and got very close to an eagle who let Jeff photograph it from all angles. We were able to see the outline of Seattle and Mt Rainier and it was a rather overcast day! What an interesting hike…seems you can go a very long ways since we hiked about 5 miles down the beach around two very large bluffs and we could have gone further except the rain was beginning to fall and we decided to turn around. There were large sea snail shells and oyster shells on the beach as well as all kinds of interesting sea life to look at!  There is a tiny little parking lot but it wasn’t full. Saw some wind surfer dudes out there, too. This would be a great place to picnic and roam the beach!
